Märkamatult
on juba nädal mu viimasest postitusest möödas, ulmeeee.
koht on suht mõttetu.
liha jaoks ehk a la 20tk olid surutud kokku väiksesse kasti. Sealt edasi
siin.
El Nido ise on
põhimõtteliselt pisike kalurikülake saare põhjaosas, kuid viimastel aastatel on
see muutunud ühe enam turistikaks, kuna siin on väga palju ilusaid saari ja
randu.
atmosfäär seal on saanud inspiratsiooni siit samast.
Siin saab
eile tegin A nendest, kui tuurijuht ütles meile, et me lõpetame 3 tundi varem,
kuna uus taifuuni hoiatus on antud.
vingumisele :D Ja taifuunist pole siiani haisugi.
prison trip |
Las Cabanas beach |
I can’t believe it’s been already a
week, since I last wrote here. Time really has to stop flying!!!
Anyways after my last post I arrived to Palawan and first two nights I spent in the biggest city here, called Puerto Princesa, but to be really honest, it’s quite a boring place. On my first day I walked around the town and whitin hour and a half I saw everything there is to see. On my second day me and a dutch guy from my hostel rented a roller and went to the prison, which is 15-20 km away from the town. Prison itself is a massive area with rice fields, forests etc and we got a tour from a guy who had spent last 28 years over there for a murder, but since he will be released in 3 years, he is allowed to walk around until 5 pm every day. It was quite a cool and chill prison, until we arrived infront of the house where were the ones, who have to stay there until they die and all of a sudden they noticed us and pretty much started to climb on the top of each other to see us better and talk to us, that was quite creepy and ofc such a great idea from me to wear shorts -,-

After we went to a crocodile farm, but it was
literally 20 crocs in a tiny box, because they are raised there for skin and
meat. We also checked out two of the beaches but they were not that great.
The next day I took a van to El Nido,
and I heard some really horrible stories about the ride, but thankfully I got the
front seat and listenedto my music so was happy enough until our driver ran
over a dog. Everyone else were total pokerfaces about it when I was in shock
and just stared at the driver like wtf just happened. His reponse was: „sorry
doggy“.
In El Nido I stay in OMP hostel, which
is all nice and everything, but compared to mad monkeys it is just sooo boring.
Thankfully I’ve seen like 9 people I’ve met in Boracay over here and in one
stage or another I shared a room with 5 of them. I’ve actually been missing
Boracay and people I met there quite badly, so I am thrilled to see these guys
here!
El Nido itself is a tiny fishers
village, but in past years it has become quite touristy and many backpackers
make their way over here while in Philippines. Whoever knows the movie „The
beach“ with Leonardo Dicaprio, then the movie was based on a book and the
author of the book wrote it while he was backpacking in El Nido, so this place
was the inspiration for the whole story.
There are different island hopping
tours available here and yesterday we did the first one of them until we were
told the tour will finish 3 hours earlier because of a taiphoon warning, but
weather was nice so we satrted to go, that no, we want the whole thing and
finally they did the full tour, and now, a day later there is still no sign of
a taiphoon.
Today I am supposed to do an exam for
my uni, but internet here is soooo slow, so dunno how I will manage to do
anything, but fingers crossed J
